The energy and enthusiasm of our mentors is an invaluable part of the Shanduka Black Umbrellas programme. Their dedication and generosity in sharing their knowledge and skills is fundamental to the development of emerging black businesses and to the economic prosperity of South Africa.

Meet these special people who contribute their value every day.

What would I say to people in terms of getting involved? Guys we have a responsibility – I think experience is one thing and we’ve achieved a certain level of success regardless but we need to give back, and our form in this generation is not ballot boxing or anything like that, it’s intellect and passing on any economic and intellectual capital we can, to the next generation – and to those who aspire to enter into our spaces.”
