Donne Nicol : Director
Previous experience: I am the CEO of the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation which focuses on small business development and education. Prior to that, I was the Executive Director of the Shanduka Foundation and an Exco Member of the Shanduka Group. I was executive assistant to Cyril Ramaphosa from 1993 to 2004 and during that time I was instrumental in setting up the Adopt-A-School Foundation and acted as Executive Director in its first year of operation. I started my career as an activist and was the Deputy Secretary of the Border Region of the ANC, which was later amalgamated into the Eastern Cape. I am a Trustee of the Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust, The Alexander Forbes Community Trust, Mabindu Trust and the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation. I am a Director of the Adopt-A-School Foundation and Shanduka Black Umbrellas.
Your family: I live in a house full of family and friends, dogs, cats and an African Grey. I am the youngest of 5 children.
The thing you like most about yourself: I am passionate and loyal.
The thing you like least about yourself: I am impatient and show my emotions too easily.
Your favourite hobbies: Reading and walking.
